Locations and departments are created in the master data. You can find them, if you click on the 4th icon from the bottom in the menu bar on the left. Clicking on the icon opens the overview of master data, locations and departments.
To create a new location, simply click on the small plus below Locations, fill in all the information and save it.
You can add a new department in the same way by clicking on the small plus below Departments. After you have entered the name for the department and clicked save, it will appear in the list. As soon as the department has been included in the training planning, you can also see in the overview how many trainees are currently in this department.
❗️Departments are clearly distinguishable from learning stations. Departments represent the organizational structure of the company. Learning stations define the area in which specific learning content is taught.
